It has a brewing capacity of 3.8 gallons or 14.4 liters of coffee per hour. Pour cold water through the top of the machine and it will begin brewing right away into the carafe (not included). A unique SplashGard funnel keeps the hot beverage from reaching your hands. The three separately controlled porcelain finish warmers keep the coffee at the proper temperature. The hood and base are stainless steel with black accents. To clean, all you need to do is wipe it lightly with a damp cloth.
