Coffee Caramel Cake Recipe

The combination of coffee and caramel is simply luscious.  Eat it with your morning coffee or serve as a delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

4 eggsCoffee Caramel Cake Recipe

1 ¾ cups sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

1 package instant vanilla pudding

¾ cup oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup orange juice

½ cup coffee whitener

3 tsp baking powder

2 ½ cups flour

½ cup caramel chips, melted

 

Glaze:

½ stick margarine

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup coffee whitener

1 cup confectioner’s sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp coffee dissolved in 1 tsp boiling water

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs and sugars. 
  3. Add pudding, oil, and the rest of the ingredients, in order. 
  4. Pour into a well-greased Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  5. Heat margarine, brown sugar, and whitener over medium flame until smooth. 
  6. In an electric mixer beat together with confectioner’s sugar, vanilla and coffee until smooth.
  7. Drizzle over cake.
