Temperature control is very important in extracting a good shot; therefore the Gaggia TS makes sure to cater to those needs. Some of its professional components that aid in maintaining proper brewing temperatures include a 2.3-liter copper boiler that has been horizontally mounted, chrome-plated brass brew group and portafilter, and a dedicated thermostat to monitor and maintain proper brewing temperatures in the brew group. The machine is unique in that the brew group is electrically heated. Thanks to the heat exchanger you can brew and steam simultaneously. Commercial Quality Machine:  This commercial style machine features a three-way solenoid valve, electrically heated chrome-plated brass brew group and portafilter, commercial style frothing wand and powerful 15 bar pump that will create a beautiful crema.

Solenoid Valve: The 3-way solenoid valve means that after brewing, barely any water is left in the portafilter, so the puck is solid and dry and can be discarded with one knock.  No soupy mess!  It releases the pressure that builds up during the brewing process and filters the water left over in the group to the drip tray.

Boiler:  The machine features a 2.3-liter copper boiler that has been horizontally mounted which helps to maintain temperature control.

Heat Exchanger: Steam and brew at the same time. A boiler keeps the water at proper temperature for steaming while water needed for brewing moves through a tube (the heat exchanger) inside the boiler where it heats up to ideal brewing temperature and then reaches the group head.

Removable Reservoir: The removable reservoir makes it really simple to refill the water.  The 96 oz size of the reservoir means you won't have to keep running to refill it and can pull countless shots.  The reservoir is made of clear plastic so that with a quick glance you can see the water level and when it's time to refill.

Cup Warmer: Warming your cups prior to brewing is essential to maintaining the coffee temperature of your shot. Cold cups can take away some of the heat of your shot. Thus the passive cup warmer which is heated by the heat that is leftover from the boiler.

ESE Pods:  Not only are a single and double shot basket included, you also have the option of Easy Serve Pods which makes brewing hassle free and mess free.  Simply insert the premeasured ESE pod of your choice into the basket and get the machine going.  Then easily discard of the spend pod.

Commercial Grade Stainless Steel Steam Wand: The stainless steel commercial grade steam wand attachment creates professional-quality milk based beverages with rich micro-foam or creamy froth. The steam wand can be swiveled, which makes for ease of use and can accommodate varying sizes of milk frothing pitchers. The wand is located on the right-hand side of the machine while a hot water dispenser is on the left to keep both functions separate.

The Gaggia TS has a small footprint making it ideal for home or light-commercial use. It rests on four heavy-duty legs for easy maintenance.
